The cycle code GasTurb™ is publicly available since 1995 and has been steadily improved over the years. It offers a wide variety of predefined engine configurations, thus allowing an immediate start of the calculation. The program makes the most frequent tasks, which performance engineers typically encounter, easy and straightforward. Parametric studies, Monte Carlo simulations and cycle optimization tasks can be completed in a small fraction of the time which is needed with many other performance programs.

GasTurb Details allows some basic calculations using the same algorithms as implemented in GasTurb. Thus, you can study details like compressors, turbines, mixers, and nozzles independently of a cycle. Moreover, you can create new fuel data sets, do disk stress calculations and digitize pictures that show correlations between arbitrary parameters.

Smooth C 8.2 and Smooth T 8.2 are tools that quickly produce high quality compressor respectively turbine characteristics from measured or calculated data. Such characteristics (also called maps) can be used not only in performance calculation codes: They are suited for evaluating small differences between different compressor types, for example, the effects of inter stage bleed, Reynold's number, tip clearance, re-staggered blades and vanes, inlet flow distortion etc.

The tool for compressor maps is Smooth C 8.2 and the equivalent program for turbine maps is Smooth T 8.2.

Operating System: All programs require Windows® 2000, Windows® XP, Vista or Windows® 7 as operating system.
